Chris Goeppner is a pastor, author, podcaster, speaker, and movement curator with more than 25 years of ministry experience. He is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, equipping leaders to fulfill their calling, and encouraging pastors as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of ministry.

In 2010, Chris and his family moved to New England to launch Riverbank Church. Under his leadership, Riverbank grew into a thriving multisite church serving communities across Vermont and New Hampshire. After 16 years as Riverbank’s founding and lead pastor, Chris passed the baton of leadership in 2026, completing a healthy transition and stepping into a new season of investing in pastors, churches, and gospel-centered movements.

Chris has spoken to thousands through conferences, evangelistic events, churches, nonprofit fundraisers, schools, and colleges. Whether speaking to a large audience or sitting across the table from a fellow pastor, he brings an engaging blend of biblical truth, practical leadership wisdom, humor, and hope.

Chris has been married to his best friend, Penny, for more than 27 years. They are the proud parents of two grown sons, Roman and Jadon, and devoted dog parents to Mayer and Charley. When he isn’t speaking, writing, or encouraging leaders, you’ll likely find him cheering passionately for Miami Hurricanes football or Boston Celtics basketball and believing the best is still ahead.
