Dusk to Dawn

The beauty of a Florida sunset reminds me of the changing seasons of life.

There’s a dusk to every season. And you can easily get caught up in the fact that the day is over, that you’ll never have that day again. OR you can embrace the beauty of the ending, take in the sunset, and look ahead with anticipation to a new dawn.

That’s the story of my life right now.

I’m grateful for the season that has ended, for all of its beauty, memories, lessons, and faithfulness. But I’m also looking toward the horizon with expectation for what God has next.

Thank You, Lord, for the beauty of dusk…but thank You even more for the dawn of a new day that is coming!
