Last Days in Vermont

These are our final days living in Vermont.


After 16½ years, I'm genuinely excited for the new season ahead, but I've also found myself reflecting on the life we've lived here. The people. The places. The experiences.

I'll never forget all that Jesus has done in so many lives—including ours.


We watched our family grow up here. We moved several times before settling into our home in White River Junction in 2015. More than 11 years in one house—that's the longest I've ever lived anywhere.

This morning, during my quiet time on the deck, I caught the familiar scent of the flowers that seems so unique to this part of New England. I paused and thought, this may be one of the last times I experience this aroma.


It's funny how, in the middle of a big transition, God uses the smallest things to remind you to slow down, be present, and give thanks.


Grateful for every memory. Excited for what's next.
